At approximately 0552 Hrs on August 3, Hook and Ladder Engine 1 and Truck 114 responded automatic aid to the Dodgingtown fire district for a report of two cars and a shed on fire next to a house.  H&L Car 102 arrived first on scene and reported two cars and a shed on fire with exposure problems.  H&L Car 101 arrived on scene shortly after and established Command.  Dodgingtown Engine 221 arrived on scene and stretched an attack line to protect the house’s exterior which had begun to smoke and was in danger of igniting.  A second line was stretched to the interior of the house in case of fire extension.  H&L Enigne 1 laid 700 feet of 5″ hose to a dry hydrant to establish a continuous water supply.  Truck 114 was placed in the driveway and operated its aerial ladder to the roof of the house.  The fire was quickly knocked down and no extension into the house was found.  Hook and Ladder operated for 1 1/2 hours.
