Hydrants

Fire Hydrants

If there is a fire hydrant near your house you can assist the Fire Department by keeping the hydrant accessible for use.

In the winter keep the hydrant clear of snow and ice, the rest of the year keep shrubs, vines and weeds clear of the hydrant. This will allow the Fire Department to locate and use the hydrant in the event of a fire at your house or your neighbor’s house.
